Dr. Briones is a Lee's Summit native who completed her undergraduate at Rockhurst University and graduated from the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Dr. Briones, as many aspiring veterinarians, has always adored animals and could never envision herself being anything but a veterinarian. This love for animals was fostered particularly by her father who introduced her to many walks through the woods looking and watching for all the possible critters. She has always been fond of animal companionship in her life and hopes to continue to foster that for her clients and their pets!

Dr. Briones is interested in preventative medicine and internal medicine. She currently lives in Kansas City with her husband, best pup, and best cat. In her free time, she still enjoys being outside -- whether it is biking, walking, running, or gardening. Dr. Briones and her husband are also very involved in their church and love to do church ministry together.
